Heritage Hall Theater - COVID-19 Related Changes

Information is subject to change

Based on the changing dynamics and heightened levels of risk of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, today Heritage Hall executives made the difficult decision to extend the suspension of ALL Heritage Hall Theatre related shows, practice and operations until May 1st, 2020.

(More Details Below)

We did not make this decision lightly. We have closely monitored and researched the ongoing COVID-19 public health developments. We also have been in communication with many local and state health care professionals and emergency management. As many of you probably know, there have been two confirmed cases in Johnson County at this time, and the national social distancing guidelines have also been extended until May 1st. Ultimately, our decision is grounded in our responsibility for the well-being of Johnson County citizens and to support the international attempt to mitigate the further spread of this virus. This remains a fluid situation and additional changes may be forthcoming.  We will share updates via email and continue to communicate with our community via email alerts and social media.

Rescheduling Events:

Our programming committee will be reaching out to our performers to assess possible rescheduling. At this point, we, unfortunately, can not reasonably expect to reschedule all affected events. More information on affected events will be forthcoming.

Ticketing and Event Sponsors

Ticket holders who recently purchased tickets through our website or box office can contact us to receive a refund or a ticket exchange. We will be able to refund most ticket purchases and refund the online service fees. Event sponsors will receive more information shortly about their sponsored event if affected.

Heritage Hall Theatre has always made the safety of our community members, performers and volunteers a top priority. We will continue to monitor and work alongside our local health officials during this time. Before the theatre resumes normal operations we will perform precautionary cleaning of our entire facility. Again this was an extremely difficult decision, but ultimately this came down to the safety of our patrons, performers and volunteers. We hope to be back to normal operation by May 1st, and will continue to keep everyone updated as we progress through the next few weeks. Stay safe and stay healthy!
