One Stoplight Town

Johnson County Community Theater presents “One Stoplight Town” by Tracy Wells. It is a story
about people from a town so small that you might drive through without taking a second look.
But if you stopped for just a moment, you might see a young boy and girl fall in love, a
cantankerous grocery store owner coping with change, a son returning home while a daughter
thinks about running away. You might even notice the town’s handyman taking it all in while he
fixes what is broken. And if you stayed long enough, you will notice that over the years, children
grown up and some change can be welcome.

These characters and their stories could even remind you of your neighbors in our small town.
The humor, the heart and the theme of change that comes whether we are ready or not.
Join us as we tell this small town story of change throughout the years.
