New Handicap Seating Protocol

Our Board of Directors has agreed to hold reserved seating for wheelchair patrons who cannot transfer easily to a theatre seat, and for patrons who must use walkers for mobility. Our newly adopted protocol for handicapped seating is in compliance with State Fire Codes.

For 2023, we are reserving spaces for two wheelchair patrons, as well as seats for their caregivers in Row C of the right wing of the theatre near the handicapped entrance. The caregiver will use the theatre seat (either seat 4, 6, or 8) and the wheelchair patron will sit in front of the caregiver.

Patrons using walkers will be able to reserve any of the five available seats in Row D of the right wing of the theatre (again near the handicapped entrance). These patrons will be allowed to keep their walkers in front of them during the performance. Patrons seated here are not required to have their walkers stored in the rear of the theatre as was previously required.

This handicapped seating will be reserved for patrons described above up until the day of the event. On the day of the event, unsold seats in these rows will be released for sale to the general public.
