Award-winning entertainer, Katie Deal has performed to sold-out houses across the US and Canada. A proud Georgia-born artist, Katie is best known for her authentic country sound. She was the 2016 recipient of the Georgia Country Artist of the Year Award. Katie is also an honored member of the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame.
As a recording artist and singer-songwriter, Katie Deal has worked with top Nashville songwriters and artists. Significantly, names like Bruce Burch (Reba McEntire), Amanda Colleen Williams (Garth Brooks), Brandon Bush (Train), Kristian Bush (Sugarland), and John Driskell Hopkins (Zac Brown Band). She has opened shows for country legends John Conlee, Sammy Kershaw, Collin Raye, B.J. Thomas, and Country Family Reunion (Bill Anderson, Jeannie Seely, T.G. Sheppard). Additionally, she even performed with the late country icon, Loretta Lynn. Furthermore, Katie is also a frequent guest vocalist with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra. Katie Deal and her band were the featured entertainment for GPB’s 2019 Gala Event honoring Brenda Lee.
As an actress, Katie has been featured in two major motion films (Let’s Be Cops and Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk), numerous commercials, and touring productions. Katie has produced several theatrical concerts which have toured internationally. She is a budding playwright and co-creator of several theatrical concerts, including “Classic Nashville Roadshow” with Jason Petty;” Today, Tomorrow & Forever: A Tribute to Patsy Cline”; and “Wildflowers: The Women of Country Music.” Additionally, Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Piedmont University, cum laude, and is a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association.
